Opening a Map

Once the World Map comes into view, you can switch to a more detailed map: 1) Tap Options, Select Map.



2) In the Select Map window, tap the either the topo map title or nautical chart title, then tap Select. (As you become familiar with map titles, you’ll be able to tell topo from nautical by checking the ID number before the name. For now, you can use the Scale number after the name: the 1:10,000-scale nautical chart is listed as “10K,” and the 1:24,000-scale topo map is “24K.”)
