Missing Celestial Navigation Files
This download corrects an error that will appear when starting CAPN Almanac that indicates that the setup file is missing. This download contains all necessary setup and data files for the CAPN Almanac Celestial Navigator.

These files are now automatically included with the CAPN 8.3.20 software. Thus, this download is only necesary for those who wish to continue using earlier editions of The CAPN. To get the latest version of The CAPN, click here.


How To Install
Click the link below. In most instances, your web browser will ask if the file should be Opened, or Saved to your computer. Choose Save, then select a location to Save the downloaded file In. If you are unfamiliar with downloading and applying software patches, we recommend choosing your "Desktop"; select Save In, Desktop and press Save. Once the download completes, double-click the downloaded application that appears on your Desktop. This will install your Maptech application. Once that process is completed, you may run your Maptech application and delete the download from your Desktop.
