Introduction
Maptech offers many options for boaters who wish to navigate the inland waterways of the US. Unlike offshore and coastal areas, which are covered fairly uniformly by a single government agency - NOAA, inland waterways are often charted and maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers. The Army Corps charts are often not as detailed as their NOAA counterparts, and should only be used as a general navigational aid. However, some products, as outlined below, also feature ENC vector charts, topographic maps, and aeral photo charts. When combined with the Army Corps charts, a good sense of the waterways can be achived.
