Introduction
Maptech ArcGIS Extensions allows Maptech's raster cartography to be used directly in most Windows ArcGIS products that support raster cartography. This includes version 8.1 and later of ArcCatalog, ArcMap, ArcView, ArcInfo, ArcScene, etc. No exporting, importing or reprojection is required!

These maps, charts, and photos are distributed as part of Maptech's Terrain Navigator Pro, Digital ChartKit Professional, and AeroPack products.


Supported Raster Types
• USGS Topographic Maps: .p24, .p25, .p63, .p1h, .p2h
• USGS DEMs: .mth, .evh
• USGS Orthophotos: .pht, .pqd
• Maptech NavPhotos: .sph
• NOAA BSB Nautical Charts: .kap, .cap (.bsb files are also needed)
• FAA Aeronautical Charts: .aer


Compatibility
• ArcGIS 8.1 or higher
• Windows XP
• Maptech Raster Nautical Charts - BSB File Format (.KAP, .CAP file extensions)
• Maptech Professional Raster Topographic Maps - VIS File Format (.P24, .P25, .P63, .P1H, .P2H file extensions)

• Maptech Raster NavPhotos - SPH File Format (.SPH file extension)
• Maptech Raster Orthophotos - PHT File Format (.PHT, .PQD file extensions)

This download includes several sample maps/charts and documentation - which increases the size of the download significantly. A separate download of the software without sample maps/charts is available.
