I have a version of Terrain Navigator that is several years old and i see that the Garmin Vista is not in the menu to select from to try to connect. I did the download that I thought would update my older version [it took about 50 minutes] but the vista still does not show up in the menu and it will not connect to the computer to allow me to download waypoints. What do I do?

My guess is that once you downloaded the update, you did not 'run' it. In the folder you downloaded the file to, double-click the 'update.exe' application. This will apply the update, and will give you version 6.02 of Terrain Navigator, which includes support for the Vista GPS.

If you have trouble with this, CD copies of the update can be ordered by calling 888-839-5551.
