Hello Ulysses:

We are not experiencing any issues with the most recent version of Active Sync
and Pocket Contour. Make sure you have the most up to date version of Offshore
Navigator from our download section and also before trying to install the Pocket
Contour program do a soft reset on the PDA then connect through active sync then
try and install the application again.

Sir: I am running Win XP, have Chart Navigator ver 5.04 and IPAQ 5450 using Activesync 3.71 connected via USB. When I try to install Pocket Contour to this PDA, I get an error message from Chart Navigator stating "Pocket Contour failed to install. Make sure your PDA is connected to the desktop"........etc. Please tell me what I need to do to get this to work. Thank you. U Brooks

Hello:

We are going to have you load the program manually onto the PDA.

You will need to create the Contour Folder within the Programs folder on the PDA.
Then you will also need to create the 3DCharts folder within the Contour folder on the PDA.

All these files can be found on the host PC in C:\Program files\Maptech\OffshoreNavigator:

Pocket Contour.exe (goes into PDA:\Program files\Contour folder)
Contour.dll (goes into PDA:\Windows)
NavmanDrv.cab (goes into PDA:\Program files\Contour folder
Ds-digi.ttf (goes into PDA:\windows\fonts folder)
12281_pda demo.3DC (goes into PDA:\Program files\Contour\3D charts folder)


All following can be found on the host PC in C:\Program files\Maptech\OffshoreNavigator:
