When I click on the Offshore Navigator icon, after getting the big logo and the message that it is rebuilding the map list etc., I get the following error message: "Offshorenav MFC application has encountered a problem and needsto close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

What has happened to cause this, I have used this application on this computers for a couple of years.

Hi William,

The first thing i'd suggest it to update up to v5.08.

At what point does the error come up in the Rebuilding?
what drive & directory is it scanning through when it happens?

I started getting this error when trying to send a position report. I am running 5.08 I have not had this problem before. I have tried numerous times with different Internet connections. I have the error report if there is someone I can sent it to.
