I'm using CN 5.08, downloaded & ran gpsfix which is supposed to handle the gps-18, but gps-18 doesn't show up in the Garmin list in GPS Setup. Should another model be used? GPS-12 doesn't appear to work as gps-18.

Al,

The Garmin GPS 18 is only a receiver, which will not work with Chart Navigator Viewer. This program does not have the capability to show real time positioning, only to transfer data between the computer and handheld GPS. Because the GPS 18 is only used for positioning it will not work with this software.

Thanks for the info. Since there are versions 5.08 for so many of your products, I didn't recognize the difference between CN & CN Viewer.
