I just bought a new computer which has the Vista operating system. I cannot install my Offshore Navigator program. I get the following error message:
1041: WinIconize: Window not found
On line: WinIcononize ("OSN 5.08 launch")
WinBatch 32 2003J
WIL Version 4.2jdb

I attempted to install using Maptech's instructions but it did not work. What do I need to do to fix this and run this softward on my new computer?

Are you beginning by exploring the contents of the Installer disc, finding and right clicking the Setup.exe file?
From there choose Properties and click the Compatibility tab.
Check the top and bottom boxes ("Run in Compatibility mode: Win XP SP2" &
"Run as an Admin".

Click OK.

Now Right click the same Setup.exe file and choose "Run As Administrator".

Hi,
I am facing the same problem : my original OSNLite disk (version 5.04) does not launch and the updater I just downloaded does not either.
I checked the two Compatibility tags as indicated in your post and tried again to "run as an admin". No result.
I tried to run the CVAutRn.exe : the OSNLite installation window opens. After clicking the Installation button nothing happens...
My questions : do I need to reinstal from the original CD or the updater is self sufficient ? Is there anything I can do to go further in the installation process ?

The procedure that Michael gave you only works with version 5.08. You can purchase an upgraded installer disk for $25 plus shipping by calling 888-839-5551.
