DISCUSSION
Because of the nature of these compressed video files, a software component (TSCC) that translates video or audio between its uncompressed form and the compressed form in which it is stored (similar to the way .zip technology compresses and decompresses a file) is required for viewing the video portion of the tutorials. If you are not seeing the video portion, but are hearing the audio portion, your Computer may not currently have the TSCC codec installed. You can install the TSCC codec a few different ways. 1) On the Video Tutorial disc for Chart Navigator Pro 2.0, there is a folder named "video tutorials", inside that folder is another folder named " install if no video is seen in WinMediaPlayer ". Open that folder, and install the file " tscc". 2) Follow this link and download and then install the TSCC codec from the internet. OR, If you do not want to install the TSCC codec software component, we have posted those video tutorials on YouTube for your viewing access. Please click here to view the Maptech Tech Document with those YouTube links. |
